  • Incredible 1970's Gandalf the Wizard patchwork jacket with printed flowers!! A true piece of rock and roll history. This was a brand with rockstar attitude that was favored by well-known musicians of the '70's. A very similar style was worn by Jody Stephens, the drummer in the band Big Star(as pictured).

Made of patchwork leather with pink roses printed over some of the patches. This is signature to Gandalf the Wizard jackets of that time, and they made them in several different custom styles. This particular style has a plunging Peter Pan collar and slightly exaggerated puffed shoulders.

    CONDITION

In very good vintage condition. There is some normal wear as detailed below and shown in photos, but quality of leather is in excellent condition:

-Slight fading to leather on back right shoulder

-Tiny puncture at back of right sleeve

-A bit of cracking to the leather under bottom button

-Lining in very good condition, only a little discoloration in a few areas

-Slight wear to the leather of the tan printed patches on back of jacket, but it looks as though the leather may have been this way originally since the printing is not faded.
