Jimi Hendrix vibes in this late 19th Century antique Ottoman Turkish bolero vest. Decadent gold embroidery patterns on top of thick grey cotton canvas with red, green, blue and purple velvet accents make this a truly special piece. Lapels/collar are ochre colored velvet. There are 4 outside front pockets. Lining is new and has an added zipper pocket. Vest has no closure. 
CONDITION
In very good antique condition, and very wearable. Shows normal signs of wear.
There are the following issues(see photos for details):
-Some discoloration/spots on velvet lapels
-Small areas of fading on body of vest
-Worn away areas and missing pieces of velvet on back of vest
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS
There is no size label. Fit is cropped and boxy and is similar to a modern Men's Small or Women's Medium. Please use measurements provided for best idea of fit:
Shoulder to shoulder: 14.5 inches
Armpit to armpit: 19 inches
Top seam to bottom hem: 18 inches
